Explore the surrounding area of Wilthen and follow the tracks of the legendary “Pumphut”! On the 17-kilometre hike you can learn all there is to know about the sorcerer of Upper Lusatia and get enchanted by the landscape around you. Don’t worry, you do not need to be a pro to make it to the end. The trail is divided into 8 sections and offers quite a few places to take a breather. From the specially marked viewpoints you get a fantastic look around. Plaques along the way tell regional legends and keep big and small hikers entertained. A unique hike for the whole family which much to explore! And who knows, maybe you’ll even meet him – the Pumphut!
How about a cycling trip? The surrounding area cannot only be explored on foot, but also by bike!
Follow the cycle path along the river Spree or get to know the sights in nearby cities on our “Weinbrand path”. And if you get tired along the way rest your legs at one of the many inns before continuing.
